"I began spinning Poi in the year 2001 with a self
made pair of poi. I made them using hand
braided hemp chords and tennis balls. I had no instruction or guidance, I simply began exploring with no real expectations
or ideas of what I was doing or where I was headed with it."
"What emerged from the geometric shapes was a
radiant yogic dance that littery engulfed me in a tetrahedron of flames.
Like a spider weaving her web, every motion planted
seeds for my heart to open and my true passion to emerge.
Fire Dancing is the voice of my spirit and of
my ancestors.
